Templates for new files

You can define as many templates for new files as you want. All templates will be stored in the 'templates' directory in the installation directory of the indexsoft Site-UP or in the directory specified by HTTP_SITEUPTPL environment variable (if Site-UP used for multiple web sites). You can use one of the following ways to add a new template:

1.  
   1. Go to the 'templates' directory in the main window (use hot keys 'Alt+L' or click 'Templ' link at the top of the main window)
   2. Press hot keys 'Alt+E' or click 'Create' link at the top of the main window
   3. Select the file(s) on your computer to be used as a template and upload it to that directory
2. In the file editing mode press the 'Save as template' button
3. Upload a template file to the 'templates' directory via the FTP protocol
