Installing for multiple web sites

You can install one copy of Site-UP that will be serving several websites. A separate configuration file will be used for each website. This solution will make it extremely easy to upgrade to new Site-UP versions when using it at several websites (for example, as a standard web based file manager on hosting provider's server).

If one copy of Site-Up will be used for multiple web sites you need define environment variables for each one:

• HTTP_SITEUPCFG contain path and name of the configuration file
• HTTP_SITEUPDIR contain path where Site-UP is installed
• HTTP_SITEUPDRT contain path to the root directory of the website
• HTTP_SITEUPTPL contain path to the directory with templates for new files
• HTTP_SITEUPURL contain URL of the website (the URL of the SITEUPDRT directory)

indexsoft Site-UP checks for environment variables and, if defined, uses them. Usually the variables will be defined in '.htaccess' file by directives of 'mod_env' or 'mod_rewrite' Apache modules.
