Where are Apache executable files are located?

Below is a list of directories (for *nix) where Apache binaries are most frequently installed and where the executable file htpasswd can most likely be found. If you don't know the path to your Apache binaries, please try these paths first:

  1. /usr/local/bin/
	($ChangeUserCommand = '/usr/local/bin/htpasswd')
  2. /usr/local/apache/bin/
	($ChangeUserCommand = '/usr/local/apache/bin/htpasswd')
  3. /usr/apache/bin/
	($ChangeUserCommand = '/usr/apache/bin/htpasswd')
  4. /usr/local/httpd/bin/
	($ChangeUserCommand = '/usr/local/httpd/bin/htpasswd')
  5. /usr/httpd/bin/
	($ChangeUserCommand = '/usr/httpd/bin/htpasswd')
  6. /usr/bin/
	($ChangeUserCommand = '/usr/bin/htpasswd')
  7. withou path
	($ChangeUserCommand = 'htpasswd')

These files are necessary for the indexsoft access manager product to work properly. Path and file name of htpasswd is used in the indexsoft access manager configuration variable '$ChangeUserCommand'.
